Alyssa Arnold

Alyssa Arnold is the head trainer at Bold City K9. Her love for sporting breeds began as a child by watching her uncle’s train and work hunting dogs; she’d spend her weekends with them in the field. Alyssa has, also, worked in the pet care industry at various boarding and daycare facilities over the last several years, and has participated in dock diving with her personal dogs, Kreacher and Dobby (German Short-Haired Pointers).

Originally, she pursued a career in nursing, but after sending her dog, Kreacher, for training through BCK9’s Board and Train program, she discovered what her passion truly was; working with dogs. Since then, she has been working under Bold City K9’s owner, Courtney Bentley, to build her knowledge of animal behavior and effective training techniques for all issues, minor to severe. She has formally completed a 480 hour hands-on apprenticeship with Bold City K9 to earn the Canine Training and Behavior Specialist certification. Alyssa plans to further her education and career by completing various specialty training programs around the country, in the future.
