Foundations Program
Our Foundations Board & Train Program is for dogs without significant behavioral concerns who need clearer communication, dependable obedience, and better everyday manners.
The Foundations Program is four weeks. During that time, your dog lives with a professional trainer and learns through structured training, household routines, public outings, and everyday experiences.
This program is designed to establish reliable foundational skills, improve responsiveness, and create clearer expectations at home and in public. Dogs learn the same core skills taught in our Premier Program, with less time devoted to advanced proofing across increasingly difficult environments and distractions.
Foundations is best suited for families who want a strong, practical starting point and are prepared to continue building reliability after their dog returns home. Owners receive a detailed go-home lesson and lifetime follow-up coaching to help maintain progress and work through new situations as they arise.
This program includes:
Loose-leash walking
Foundational recall and off-leash communication
Sit, down, and place commands
Clear everyday communication
Better household boundaries and manners
Improved engagement and responsiveness
Appropriate behavior around guests, children, and dogs
Structured exposure to parks, stores, neighborhoods, and other public environments
Owner coaching on communication, structure, and continued practice at home
Follow-up training to help maintain and strengthen results
The result is a dog with clearer communication, stronger foundational skills, and better habits the family can confidently continue developing at home.
Premier Program
Our flagship immersive program for families who want a dog they can confidently live with, travel with, and bring into daily life.
The Premier Program is typically 6 weeks. Most dogs reach the program goals within that timeframe, but we do not rush the process simply because the calendar says training is over. If your dog needs additional time, it is included at no additional cost.
This program is designed to build dependable obedience, better manners, emotional regulation, and reliable behavior around real-world distractions. Dogs train in the environments they’ll actually encounter, including neighborhoods, public spaces, busy settings, household routines, and common social situations.
Beyond obedience, we help dogs learn how to engage appropriately, play productively, and use their natural drives in healthier, more fulfilling ways. Owners are shown how to create fulfilling outlets through structured play, training games, movement, and purposeful activities they can continue at home. Because a dog who knows how to work, play, and settle is easier to live with, easier to understand, and better prepared for everyday life.
This program includes:
Calm, structured leash walking
Reliable recall and off-leash communication
Sit, down, and place commands
Appropriate behavior around guests, children, and dogs
Confidence and neutrality in public
Clear household boundaries and better manners at home
Appropriate play and healthier engagement with people and dogs
Structured outlets tailored to the dog’s breed, temperament, and drive
Exposure to restaurants, parks, stores, neighborhoods, and other real-life environments
Owner coaching on how to train, play, and provide meaningful fulfillment at home
Follow up training to maintain results after the dog returns home
The result is a calmer, more adaptable companion with the skills and confidence to move through everyday life with greater ease and reliability.
Cultivated Through Experience
Our programs have been developed over more than a decade through hands-on training, continual refinement, and a clear understanding of what families actually need from their dogs.
Every dog is trained as an individual. Temperament, genetics, maturity, history, family dynamics, and long-term goals all shape how the program is approached.
Signature Program
Some dogs need more than dependable everyday behavior. The Signature Program is designed for families who expect their dog to confidently accompany them through travel, changing environments, extended outings, and a more demanding lifestyle.
This program provides twelve weeks of immersive training for dogs expected to function confidently through more complex routines, greater freedom, frequent travel, and broader real-world demands.
Training is customized around the dog, the family, and the life they are preparing to share.
This program includes:
Frequent travel and changing routines
Hotels, airports, flights, and extended road trips
Boats, outdoor recreation, and unfamiliar environments
Longer public outings and busier settings
Greater off-leash reliability
More advanced household and lifestyle expectations
Additional confidence-building and exposure
Specialized goals requiring more time and repetition
Availability is limited to ensure the program remains highly individualized.
Training Comes Home With You
Every Board & Train program ends with a detailed go-home lesson, typically lasting one to two hours. We walk you through your dog’s equipment, communication system, daily structure, and each skill they learned so you understand not just what to do, but how and when to use it.
Most families benefit from a few follow-up sessions as they begin applying the training in real life. That is why graduates are welcome to join us during regular training outings throughout the week for continued coaching, practice around other dogs, and help working through new situations as they come up.
Lifetime follow-up is built into every program, giving you continued access to coaching whenever you need a refresher, extra practice, or help with a new challenge.
Because lasting results depend on more than what your dog learns with us. They depend on making sure you know how to use the training confidently in everyday life.

Dogs stay in a home-based environment with their trainer, where training is built into normal routines, household expectations, and everyday life. This gives them structure and consistency while helping the skills transfer more naturally when they return home.
-
The Premier Companion Program is typically six weeks. Most dogs reach the program goals within that timeframe, but we do not rush the process simply because the calendar says training is over. If your dog needs additional time, it is included at no additional cost. Our Signature Lifestyle Program is 12 weeks. Inquire for more info.

That is a major part of the program. Your dog’s go-home lesson typically lasts one to two hours and covers equipment, communication, reinforcement, daily structure, and every skill your dog learned. Continued coaching is also included so you are not left figuring it out alone after pickup.
-
Yes, we regularly work with dogs displaying reactivity, aggression, fear, and anxiety. Because these behaviors vary in cause and severity, we first learn more about the dog, their history, and what is happening at home before recommending the right program and setting realistic expectations.
